Complex Data Modeling Research Network

The BayesLab at Bocconi is part of the Complex Data Modeling Research Network, an intercontinental initiative that brings together leading researchers in Statistics and Data Science from several institutions across the world. The mission of the network is to promote world-class data science research, developing innovative methodology to support the generation of data-based evidence, and to foster faculty and student interaction and exchange among the centers involved in the network. The network contributes to provide a timely answer to the rapidly increasing demand for advanced methodologies, as well as skilled individuals, able to effectively extract relevant and interpretable information from large and complex data sets. The Complex Data Modeling Research Network carries out its role by organizing open and closed online seminars, and reading groups (see here for more details). The participation of BayesLab in the network includes research collaborations, fostering visiting periods of scholars across institutions and organizing joint online seminars that are attended by researchers from different institutions across the whole network.

Seminars sponsored by BayesLab during the Fall 2020 semester:

  •  29/10/2020, 5pm CET
Title: Bayesian Semiparametric Longitudinal Drift-Diffusion Mixed Models for Category Learning
Speaker: Abhra Sarkar (University of Texas at Austin)
