New ERC Projects in Statistics and Cryptography at BIDSA

Two new research projects funded by the European Research Council (ERC) will be hosted by BIDSA. They deal with frontier research in
Cryptography and Statistics and are led by BIDSA Fellows Alon Rosen and Botond Szabo, respectively.

Alon Rosen's ERC Advanced Grant "Fine-Grained Cryptography" has started on January 1, 2022. Botond Szabo just won an ERC Starting Grant for his project "The missing mathematical story of Bayesian uncertainty quantification for big data", which will be starting soon.
